Our speciality at Stacie + Co. lies in crafting celebrations that authentically represent our couples and their families. So when Elizabeth and Chase came to us wanting to create a stunning wedding and reception on the bride’s family farm, we couldn’t be more excited to honor their family. What an amazing opportunity to take a place that’s already near and dear and have it be the backdrop of one of the best days of their lives. We’re so excited to go behind the scenes and share more of this beautiful family farm tented wedding that was featured on Style Me Pretty!
Elizabeth and chase met in college at Auburn and became fast friends. Isn’t that how the best stories always start out? Knowing they had bible study Saturday morning, Chase made plans for them to watch the sunrise at her family farm beforehand. They got there just in time and decided to document the stunning backdrop. But little did she know, Chase had the sweetest moment planned and popped the question.
When it came to choosing their venue, there was no doubt in their mind that a family farm wedding was in order as it was such a sentimental spot. Their overall vision was a light and airy vibe that tied in some rustic touches with an overarching elegant feel. Elizabeth and Chase entrusted our team to run with this inspiration and we cannot wait to show you the result!
One of our favorite details from their stunning family farm tented wedding was undoubtedly the tent from Sperry Tents Southeast. We brought in beautiful custom antler chandeliers made from deer the family had processed from their hunts. From the quail buggies to the pheasant feathers seen in the arrangements, there were so many sweet family farm contributions to the design. Another detail we loved was the huge greenery install over the dance floor. Together, these wow-worthy aspects became the frame of a picturesque scene. We used a combination of sage green and white and green floral linens to add an upscale element to the outdoorsy antler and feather elements. Their design was a dance between these more masculine textures plus wood and leather, and softer hues and neutral florals.
While reflecting on her favorite parts of the day, Elizabeth said, “I had a very chill day just processing my emotions and spending time with my best girls, but a few of my most favorite parts were, seeing Chase for the first time and just the feeling of security and that during that moment nothing else mattered and everything got so real. Another fav part was getting to see the reception before the wedding started with no one in there and really getting to take in the design and hard work Stacie and the team put in, how perfect every single detail was from big things to even small things, she killed all my expectations although I never doubted for a second that she wouldn’t deliver.”
