What do you love most about serving couples?
I love getting to know my couples, their families and friends. Every wedding is new, exciting and different and it makes this job so much fun! Each time I arrive for a wedding day, I know I’m about to document such an important day and provide photographs that last a lifetime – it is so rewarding!
Why is having a wedding planner and designer so important for couples?
Wedding days are full of logistics with a lot of moving parts to them – having a wedding planner is essential! No matter the size of the wedding, it’s vital to have someone there from the beginning that understands your vision and knows how to execute it all the way through your wedding day.
Favorite way to spend the day with your family:
We love to have a mixture of time with family and friends, but also time for ourselves to relax and recharge! During football season, it’s all about tailgating and enjoying time with friends on campus enjoying living in a college town!
How do you spend your free time?
I love spending time with my husband, Sam, and brand new daughter, Alice! We love to take long walks and enjoy the outdoors together. Other times, I enjoy attending Pure Barre classes and brunching with friends!
What do weekends look like when you don’t have a wedding?
Weekends without weddings are a great time for me to relax and recharge for the week and more wedding days ahead! We spend time together as a family enjoying our amazing downtown area and catching up on any home projects!
Favorite wedding moment of all time:
My favorite wedding moment of all time was in 2021 at Lake Martin. The bride and groom had just said their vows and were enjoying a private meal together when they received a call that their flights to their honeymoon had been cancelled the very next day. I proceeded to watch these two make phone calls, troubleshoot and deal with such a stressful situation all while laughing and having smiles on their faces. They truly amazed me with their composure and their laugh-about-it attitude. We replaced sunset portraits with the photos of them dealing with this mess of a situation – champagne in one hand and cell phones in another.
Best piece of advice to couples planning their wedding:
It is absolutely the best thing you could do for your couples to hire Stacie + Co.! Stacie and her team bring experience, vision and fun to the entire wedding planning process from start to finish! I have been a part of wedding days with Stacie + Co. with so many logistics and details to juggle – she does it all so well and creates such a fun atmosphere for hercouples!
