This couldn’t be more true for Sara and Patrick’s Classic Meets Colorful Wedding!
Both Sara and Patrick exude kindness and joy. So much so that it’s tangible when you browse through their wedding photos. Their tender moments together and the interaction with their friends and family members are cheerful and bright. It’s no surprise that a wedding full of color is what they were after!
Their wedding took place at the classic Moores Mill Club in January. And they certainly redefined everything about a winter wedding with their wedding palette of rich hues. The groom’s family owns Halls Opelika, a local wholesale floral company, that provided a stunning assortment of blooms in red, orange, yellow, pink and purple. Roses, lilys, orchids, ranunculus, craspedia and colorful foliage together made for the brightest, almost topical arrangements. Jess M. Burkhart of Frou Frou designed a stunning fireplace installation that was the focal point for their reception. And a circular gold floral arch with lush greenery and florals beautifully framed their ceremony.
To further their Classic Meets Colorful Wedding look, Sara worked with Anomalie to custom design a wedding dress that would mimic the floral design. A classic, airy silhouette with delicate illusion sleeves took a colorful twist with bright floral appliques cascading down the back, bodice and sleeves. The bridesmaids donned sleek black David’s Bridal gowns, each in their own silhouette, and slate teal shaws that tied in with the reception table runners from BBJ La Tavola.
From their classic invitation suite from Jordan Rhodes Design, made extra special with a black Heirloom Seals wax seal and slate teal ribbon, to their reception, we loved that from start to finish, their vision was cohesive.
